On the blog I’m discussing some misconceptions that are very common for Type 4 Hair and some of the recent revelations I have stumbled upon. Nappy, Wash and Gos are a No No and Unmanageability are some of the most common misconceptions associated with this hair. http://www.msdeekay.com/3629/type-4-hair-misconceptions/
Pampering session, decided to put the rest of the clay on my face it detoxes the skin and unclogs pores #naturalhair #naturalhairregimen #lowporosityhair #journeytomaximumhydration #maximumhydrationmethod #bentoniteclay #4cnatural #4cnaturalhair
Doing a #bentoniteclay rinse 1cup bentonite clay 1.5 cup warm water 1 tbspn of honey 1tblspn of olive oil leave in for at least 15 min done after my overnight deep conditioning the benefit of using clay is to detox the hair, remove build up, opens the cuticles and allows the to receive moisture, doesn’t strip hair of moisture #lowporosityhair #naturalhairregimen #maximumhydrationmethod #journeytomaximumhydration #4cnaturalhair #4cnatural #naturalhair #hairtreatment
Today I’ll be sharing my 10 months post big chop update. When I did the video below I was actually 10 months post BC, this was back in march. But I’ve been so busy and haven’t gotten around posting this. Technically, next week I’ll actually be 11 months post BC which is super exciting because next months it’s going to be a year!!! Doing the modified #cherrylolatreatment this treatment lifts the cuticles and allows better absorption of moisture into the hair shaft, It can be done as often as every two weeks. Did this for the first time last night and my hair was super duper soft. It is a combination of the popular cherry Lola treatment for #lowporositynaturalhair and the caramel treatment. You will need 2 cups of Greek yogurt, 2 tbsp baking soda, 2 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp of aminos coconut or soy, half tbsp raw honey, 1 tbsp unsulfured molasses, half an over ripe plantain or banana, 3/4 tbsp avocado and 1 egg optional blend ingredients, saturate dry but det angled hair from root to tip with mixture put a shower cap and let it sit for 1.5 - 2 hours rinse out completely with warm or hot water. #journeytomaximumhydration #maximumhydrationmethod #lowporosityhair #4cnatural #4cnaturalhair #naturalhairregimen
